The Dallas Cowboys will be playing for first place in the NFC East tonight against the Giants. The Cowboys have for 4 or their last 5 games however they last time out they had a heart breaking loss to Arizona. On the other hand the Giants have lost 4 straight games but gave the Packers their best game of the season last week. When it comes to Cowboys Vs Giants their is no hiding the teams play twice a year and know the other tendencies. Below are what the Cowboys offense and defensive game plans for Sunday Nights game.
Offensive Game Plan- Jason Garrett has to know that when the Cowboys can run the football they are a very tough team to beat. Tony Fiammetta will be returning to the line up and that will be a huge upgrade for this Cowboys run game that struggled last week. The Giants defense strength is it pass rush with Jason Pierre Paul and Justin Tuck. The Cowboys will try to avoid them at all cost and attack the middle of the Giants defense. Their starting safety Kenny Phillips will not be playing and due to injures their linebacking core is very week. This means that the Cowboys will let Murray get chunks of yards up the middle early to set up the play action. Miles Austin will be returning from injury makes the Cowboys shotgun formation very dangerous. Tony will be throwing a lot of quick slants and comebacks and then take his shot down field to Dez Bryant on play action. The key for the Cowboys offense is getting the running game going and then letting Tony Romo pick apart the D with quick passes.
Defensive Game Plan- The key for Rob Ryan is stopping the Giants running game and making them one dimensional. Amad Bradshaw being back is a huge left for the Giants and the Cowboys have to stop him early not only running out of the back field but catching passes. The Giants are a big play offense with great weapons on the outside. The Cowboys can't let up a long touchdown play and that is up to the pass rush. Ware and others have to be in Eli face every time he steps to throw. When you give Eli time he will pick you apart and Rob Ryan needs to be aggressive and make sure he is not comforter in the pocket. The secondary is going to have its hands full this week but with pressure on Eli they will be up for to the challenge.
Bold Predictions-
Ware has 2 sacks
Witten has over 7 receptions and a TD
Romo Steps up big with 3 TD
Dez Bryant 40 TD in the first have
Miles Austin 9 yard catch on a comeback rout in the first 10 plays
Cowboys force 3 turnovers
Murray solid game over 100 and a TD
This is going to be a great game and the Cowboys need to start strong and then they will win 34-31.
