For those of you who were concerned that Adam Jones could see a similar suspension to Cedric Benson's, you can breath a little easier now.

Jones' trial for his arrest on two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest has been moved from this Thursday to January 18. That means that Jones won't have to miss practice for a court date and he won't get suspended by the NFL, who will likely wait to see what happens in the case before they decide which coarse of action to take.

We reported on Tuesday that Jones wouldn't see any additional jail time for his July arrest from the Las Vegas judge that ruled on his 2007 strip club shooting case and instead he'd receive just 75 hours of community service, on top of the 200 hours that he already completed.

This is good news. Now Jones can focus on getting healthy and back on the field without having to worry about the outcome of an upcoming trial.

Now let's hope that if the Bengals make the playoffs, the trial can be pushed back again.
